PostSubject: Bring back Crack Wars   Mon Oct 08, 2012 11:47 pm

Anyone who have played airsoft in Alabama long enough should have at least heard of Crack Wars(or was it called something else?).
Whether they have been there; missed it; or heard some old person reminiscing such as "back in the day, we played a kind of airsoft game called Crack Wars at older fields."

Saddest part is that last thread in this section DIED for whatever reason.

I thought: lots of people shy away from anything remotely similar to MilSim for some reason; why not throw that out altogether and make something that does not have any political reference in it?
I leave Soviet/Russian cosplay at home, everyone drop their 1337 tf141 st6 delta 0p3r4t0r stuff too; let's have something different.

I want something similar to Crack Wars in Mt.Doom; make prop such as styrofoam blocks on push cart for "drug shipments" that can only travel on main roads(to concentrate firefights around there along with promoting use of decent ambush and mines), with each gang trying to jack others' shipment of "coke" and "hoe" and cops arresting...etc. Like Blood vs. Crips or something. Red vs. Blue with lots of fake jewelry/brown facepaint/shoot gun upside down or sideways for teh lulz.

It should be pretty interesting now that we can actually get good amount of people.

Crack Wars sounds like good idea to me; Mt.Doom has plenty of roads and building complexes to serve as each gang's(and police's) hideouts, and we can have amount of drugs/hoe(drug, at least, must be collected from an area of equal distance between both gangs) or something to determine winner of the day(each gang has different color; police is just black).

To promote use of pistols/shotguns(typical gangsta weapons), only people who use only pistol/shotgun may escort/capture drug shipments(to keep lower profile and simulate street shootout without too many heavy weapons); everyone else are to capture territories(like capture points in video games) to gain more "hoe"(each territory = certain number; closer to gang hideout, more "hoe" it has for obvious reasons) or will be called to help defend/attack drug shipment in that gang's territory.

This is obviously not full article on how to make a decent Drug War game; just a general idea. If no interest, just go to AOW and not whine about it(because Bravo and company put lots of effort into making events like those; complain only matters when the one who complains makes better event at same location, and I doubt that any individual can do that).

Hang I actually laughed. Not at you but with you, this seems like something we could put together and have a good laugh while doing it. Pistols turned sideways always means its a kill shot lol. You know I'm down for any kind of airsoft. ,yabe we could use some of cwings blow up dolls to serve as hoes lol. It would be funny to take them out by poping them with your gat. Let's see what we can put together props, time and dates, ect.

Billy and I planned out a scenario for a similar drug war game but haven't gathered the necessary props yet.
